Description

Coarse dust with a particle size 75 microns, up to 3mm. Designed for the maintenance of lawns and field crops. As the product is coarser, absorption of minerals by plants is on a longer term. Mixes well with compost for optimum results.

Figures on the list of Organis Materials Review Institute (OMRI) for use in certified organic farming. Has also been approved by the Pro-Cert certification Agency according to the Canadian and National Organic Standards, as well as by Ecocert according to Canadian Organic Standards.

Initially apply 224 to 448 kgs per hectare (200 to 400 lbs/acre), followed by an annual maintenance of 140 to 280 kgs per hectare (125 to 250 lbs/acre), or according to needs based on soil quality. When preparing the soil, apply on surface 0.5 kg per m2 (10 lbs per 100 ft2), mix gently, and water. For better results add 0.25 kg per m2 (5 lbs per 100 ft2) during the growing season. Apply on surface of rooting area, 236 g (1 cup) per 2.5 cm (1 inch) of trunk diameter, mix gently on the surface and water. For existing lawns, a 20 kg (44 lb) bag will cover 1100 to 1400 m2 (12,000 to 15,000 ft2). Apply up to 4 times per year. For new lawns, apply at a heavier rate and mix into soil before planting grass seeds Prior to planting, apply 8 kg per m3 (1 cup per ft3) of potting soil. For surface application use 5 g (1 tsp) per every 2.5 cm (inch) of pot diameter, lightly stir into soil and water thoroughly.
