Tony Spruits – Owner of Winchelsea Farms Inc. & Against the Grain Farms Inc.
Winchelsea Farms Inc. and Against the Grain Farms Inc. are owned and operated by Tony & Shelley Spruit (Ontario, Canada). They grow 250 acres of grain and corn crops with a focus on heritage and ancient grains and corn for the human consumption market. To learn more about organic soil amendments and increasing field crop productivity, Tony did multi-year trials using Huplaso (Fast Release) on barley, soybean, and dried beans. Since many variables can affect trials, Tony feels it’s imperative to get a true assessment of Huplaso’s field crop potential. First year trial using Huplaso Fast Release on soybean plots versus replicate plots did not show any significant difference. However, the first-year trial using Huplaso Fast Release in conjunction with equal amounts of black carbon applied directly into trench with dried bean seed saw tremendous benefits, including: root formation, seed production, crop yield, drought resistance and early frost tolerance. A new trial in 2021 with the same application rates of Huplaso mineralizer in different types of soil and with different seed types is then done the following year. This is the 2nd year of testing Huplaso Fast Release mineralizer on a small grain field. The yield was low due to 7 weeks of drought, but the quality of the harvested grain was excellent. This trial will be repeated in the same year with the same application rates and with the same variety of grain. On-farm trials show the potential of applying Huplaso in combination with other organic materials for long-term soil improvement and repair. Huplaso offers environmentally friendly fertilizer options for farmers looking to improve degraded soils and improve field crop production. Tony feels it is important as a farmer to be actively involved in expanding research efforts to learn more about the potential of Huplaso products. It allows a more holistic approach to agriculture.
Aldéoda Losier – Provincial Giant Pumpkin Festival
"I have been using the Huplaso product for competitions since 2016, which allows me to have pumpkins over 1000 pounds. Since 2017, I have gained two 2nd positions. I also managed, despite the drought, to take first place this year with a 1058 pound pumpkin. Despite being smaller than my competition, my pumpkin was 20% heavier. I believe part of my victory is due to Huplaso and the other natural products I use. My pumpkin contains more nutrients than those of my competitors which use chemicals. When compared to others, it is heavier, fuller and contains no cracks. One thing is certain, I will continue to use Huplaso. It is one of my powerful weapons for victory."

Kenneth Robichaud – Gourmet Chef Packers
Kenneth Robichaud of Gourmet Chef Packers is an organic strawberry farmer working in the Shediac region of New Brunswick. He has been using basalt dust on his fields for several years. He presents to you his observations and the improvements that the huplaso product has made to his soil, his plants and his harvest.
Hubert Noël & Glenda Cowan - Camerise Cowan-Noël
Hubert Noël and his wife Glenda have owned the Camerise Cowan-Noël farm since they started harvesting in 2013. They tested Huplaso volcanic rock dust on their second field, which allowed them to notice differences with and without the product. They show you the perceived differences and the benefits of using Huplaso.

Carole Brideau – Amateur Gardener
"Huplaso! That’s what they told me. Yes! The earth is a living organism, and it needs to be nourished. My little vegetable garden is strictly made up of dead leaves, Huplaso fertilizer, compost and a lot of love and water. I had a hypothesis that my garden would grow well because Huplaso is made of volcanic rock dust and is ecological and organic. From my research, I knew that powdered volcanic rocks produced an excellent fertilizer (vines in Italy near volcanoes). During the first week, I only used Huplaso on my yellow beans and not on the green beanss. What a surprise when I saw that the yellow beans grew well before the green one which also showered a lack of energy. My hypothesis turned out to be correct. I then fed my green beans and other plants with Huplaso and they decided to grow vigorously. Considering this adventure, I will only use Huplaso in the future because I believe in it and above all, I have seen the proof of the efficacity by the growth of the plants, the height of the plants (taller than me), the quality of the leaves, the strength of the plant during the rains and by the low apparition of parasites. As we can say, practice makes perfect, so I will continue to garden with Huplaso to become a good gardener."
Bruce Dryer – Amateur Gardener
"I had two 10 x 10 foot plots. One was a control and the other had the Huplaso product. In each plot, I planted 20 lettuce seeds and 20 spinach seeds. Each plot received the same amount of water. Very good results were observed in plots containing the Huplaso product. On average, the weight per plant was 23% higher. Spinach, on the other hand, was 37.3% heavier while spinach and lettuce were on average 1.5 times taller than plants in the other plot. Plants that were fed with Huplaso were generally healthier than others and had more resistance to pests."

Jeanne-d'arc Lavoie – President of the Gardeners Groups of the Acadian Peninsula
"In the first months, I did not see the difference between my vegetables that received basalt and the others. I then realized that the basalt had to do its job with the mycorrhizae in order to reach the plants. The more summer went on, the more I saw changes. Among the changes, I noticed that I had a lot more tomatoes on my plants. The cabbages, leeks, turnips, peppers and onions were getting big and in addition, my carrots with the Huplaso product were not attacked by the carrot fly unlike the others. My harvest was better. The yield was higher despite the times of drought. I managed to ripen all the tomatoes and peppers on the plants. It’s a first! "
Eugene Goin – Modesto Farms
Eugene Goin, owner of Modesto Farms, has tried the Huplaso product and verified its effectiveness by testing it on tomato plants. He had three plants: one without the product, one with a low dose and one with a high dose. He explains his experience, the differences observed between the plants as well as the positive effects of Huplaso (color, roots, leaves and others).

Eddy Robichaud – Robichaud Farm
Eddy Robichaud of J.B. Robichaud et Fils farm in the Shippagan region of New Brunswick is an ecological potato farmer. Mr. Robichaud agreed to carry out tests in collaboration with the Coastal Zone Research Institute in order to find ouoot what the effects of the Huplaso product were on the cultivation of potatoes.

John Harrigan – New Brunswick
"I decided to reseed my lawn in May after years of trying to reclaim it. I raked my lawk and added topsoil. I added the Huplaso product to the areas that were most difficult to maintain in the past and then hydroseed. Within 3 weeks I had a fully ready-to-mow lawn, which I had never had on this property before. My only regret is that I didn’t use it on all parts of my lawn. I will continue to use Huplaso and recommend its use for sure. I am really impressed with the effects of this product!"
Gilles Pelletier – Hortiplan Outaouais Inc.
"Our company is certified in ecological maintenance and landscaping of green spaces in Quebec and Ontario and one of our priorities is the environment. After researching for a product that would allow us to improve our results on our customers lawns, we decided to give Huplaso a try. Despite the weather conditions (cold/rainy/heatwave), we noticed a difference in the density of the lawn. We also noticed that it was greener and that it kept its greenery longer during heat waves. In addition, we have observed a reduction in the infestation of certain insect pests. I have nothing but positive to say about the result obtained with Huplaso. The only downside: learning to handle the powder product well. Next year we will be using the granular product."
